two birds on a wire.

two birds on a wire
one tries to fly away
and the other watches him close from that wire
he says he wants to as well
but he is a liar

i'll believe it all
there's nothing i won't understand

i'll believe it all

i won't let go of your hand

two birds on a wire
one says c'mon and the other says "i'm tired"
the sky is overcast and i'm sorry

one more or one less
nobody's worried

i'll believe it all
there's nothing i won't understand

i'll believe it all

i won't let go of your hand

two birds of a feather
say that they're always gonna stay together
but one's never going to let go of that wire
he says that he will
but he's just a liar

two birds on a wire
one tries to fly away and the other
watches him close from that wire
he says he wants to as well, but he is a liar

two birds on a wire
once tries to fly away and the other...

amazing, by the way.

fanxgivin'.

today was a day for thanks so, to begin my day i texted all my friends n' family that i'm thankful for wishing them a happy thanksgiving. one of my favourite responses was probably from my friend kellen saying, "merry indian genocide day. >:| " he never ceases to amuse me.

the rest of my day included driving to my cousins' home in shoreham [and my sister driving us into a ditch and getting lost twice on the way there] where we had a great family feast with a boounntyy of harvest for all to consume. hah, after the meal we were all in the best state of food comatose.

i don't really have much to say, i just wanted to reflect a little on the day and how nice it was to see my family. quality time with the aunts, uncles and cousins doesn't come very often so when it does, and when it lacks extra family drama, it's always an awesome time.

i love my family. it's full of really, really beautiful people. on the inside and out. i keep listening to this one song tonight on repeat. it feels like the perfect song for the day and the great feeling of love during the holidays. lame, i know. sorry loves. xoxo. maggie.

watch this.

an amazing cover of these days, made famous by nico & the velvet underground, performed here by the tallest man on earth.

today is one of those days..

where all i want to do is stay in my warm bed and listen to good music and eat soup with someone lovely. my pneumonia which i'd just recently gotten over (or something else equally as terrifying) decided to rear it's ugly head today and i've been nauseous all morning. unfortunately, my only offer to bring me grilled cheese, ginger ale, and a healthy supply of company lives hours away. it is a god damn shame, i'll tell ya.

just thought i'd take a moment while i'm not puking to share the playlist i'm listening to. it's perfect for rainy or snowy days where all you want to do is be warm admist blankets and cuddles.

calculating.

so first of all, let me just point out how amazing johnny depp and kate moss were as a couple. i know it was forever ago, but i was surfing the web and just happened upon these photos of them. intensely gorrgeous people.

but anyways.. i've done my calculations and my burlington move is starting to turn into a reality. i've found out that i can move to burlington successfully in january if three things happen: one, my dad agrees to pay for my ccv tuition credits and rent [in place of room and board]; two, i get the apartment on clarke street in downtown burlington; and three, i find oone for roommate to fill the third bedroom. i already got over the biggest hurdle of finding out whether or not i could break lease in rutland so hopefully it will all be coasting from here.

on another note, everyone is coming home for thanksgiving break so finally i will be able to have some fresh fun in the rutland area while i'm still living here. time to go find something to do. xoxo. maggie.

oh, and take a listen:
