♔♔♔: maggie[off]abreak?

it is completely impractical for me to be awake right meow. it's 3:30am and i'm just barely beginning this blogpost. in five and a half hours i'll be starting my first college class since starting my "break." luckily, my class is an art class which will be a lovely transition back into my school life. i miss learning too, i really do. i'm excited to get back into the swing of things- especially with such a mellow segway into education with only taking one class at a time throughout the summer. the reason i'm posting though is not to discuss my classes, nor to discuss how this technically takes me off my break- i'm writing to update about my recent @$$achusettes travels. and this time, instead of my typical picture posts, i'll be posting disposable prints! they are always so much more fun and i'll be posting as many as i can this summer.

thursday morning i took to the highway and began my trek to medway, massachusetts to visit my friend sam. with my luck, one exit away from sam's hometown, my tire blew and i had to slowly creep along the breakdown lane to the nearest gas station so i could get ahold of aaa and get a new tire. after two extra hours tacked onto the travel time, i arrived at sam's and we hung around his house briefly before driving another hour south to his family's house on the cape. that night we made our own sushi, lounged around before sleeps, and woke to a gorgeous view of the ocean. more photos after the jump.

after a delicious fried seadood lunch at barnacle bill's we headed back towards medway and while sam and garrett skated in acton (in honor of ronnie james dio r.i.p), i drove to my cousin's in wellesley and shared a sundae with my favourite mongoose, melissa. the evening was a mellow one and we finished off the night watching vicki, christina, barcelona which i've been wanting to see for quite a while. i recommend it if you enjoy spaniards, europe, lust, and sexual tension.

on saturday, we went drove through downtown framingham and then headed to the natick mall which was craazzy huge and insanely nice. i bought a plethora of new accessories (two pairs of earrings, two bracelets, nail polish, and two rings) and afterwards we stopped by easternboarder and sam picked up a new hat.

the evening included aqueduct adventuring and becoming acquainted with some of sam's friends from highskeewl. my time in massachusetts was a great minitrip to start off the summer and made the in between time of people coming in and out of burlington before settling for the summer on june first much more enjoyable.
